Tien Giang is one of the localities with the largest jackfruit growing area in the Mekong Delta with more than 15,000 ha, yielding 265 quintals/ha, with an output of about 270,300 tons/year.

Packing process of jackfruit: Detailed export jackfruit packing process:

• First, use a thin sheet of paper to wrap the bottom of the jackfruit.
• Continue to use a thick cardboard, wrap it around carefully, so that most of the jackfruit is sealed. Note that the stalk is left for the jackfruit to “breathe”. Secure the cover with tape.
• Put jackfruit in a basket lined with leaves, straw at the bottom, filling around the sides of the basket. (Note: arrange in the direction of rotation of the jackfruit stalk upwards)
